It's a Secret!

Dave and I experienced a classic January morning skiing untracked powder. Other than the length of the runs, these turns were as good as can be found anywhere. The trees were glazed and glowing from a cloudless sunrise as we approached our first turns (or in Dave's case, a perfect figure 11!). The temps were in the single digits and kept us from overheating on the 9 ascents we made after claiming first tracks on every new run. When done it was 10:30 and we headed back to spend the day skiing and riding with family and friends at the local resort knowing everything else that day would be "just gravy"! It should be noted that Dave was out on classic nordic equipment which made his turns about as big as the grin on his face all morning!
